Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra The 179th Subscription Concert Unofficial

This is a special program by the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra featuring legendary clarinetist Richard Stoltzman. Conductor and Artistic Director Yutaka Sado and Stoltzman make for a spectacular collaboration. In the program, Stoltzmann's close friend and world-renowned composer Toru Takemitsu will perform "Fantasma/Kantos" written for him, inviting us into the profound world of Takemitsu's music. The second half of the concert features Schumann's Symphony No. 2, which is a richly rewarding performance that fully demonstrates the orchestra's ensemble capabilities.
