Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra The 179th Subscription Concert Unofficial

The 179th subscription concert of the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra will feature a sumptuous collaboration between Artistic Director Yutaka Sado and two-time Grammy Award-winning world-renowned clarinet virtuoso Richard Stoltzman. In the first half of the program, Stoltzman's close friend and world-renowned composer Toru Takemitsu will perform his masterpiece "Fantasma/Kantos," written for him, and will explore the essence of Takemitsu's music. The second half of the concert will feature Schumann's Symphony No. 2, a fitting conclusion to the season that brings together the ensemble strengths of the orchestra.
