In Part 2 of the “Luciol Wind Ensemble Festival,” under the theme “Passionate Sounds: Wind Music That Stirs the Soul,” the Minoh Jiyu Gakuen High School Wind Ensemble—renowned nationwide for its exceptional skill—and the Ryukoku University Wind Ensemble will deliver a spectacular performance. Furthermore, as a unique feature of this festival, a special program has been organized in which junior high and high school students from within the prefecture—selected through an open call—will perform together with members of the Ryukoku University Wind Ensemble, allowing these young musicians, who represent the next generation, to deliver passionate performances. Famous wind ensemble pieces such as S. Reinike’s “Where the Eagles Soar,” Hiroshi Hoshina’s “Wind Patterns,” and “Boléro” will fill the venue with their powerful sound. We invite you to enjoy this moving experience of connecting hearts through music at the Main Hall of the Moriyama Civic Hall. The stage, where the performers’ passions collide, is sure to move not only wind ensemble fans but also a wide audience.
