Summer Bon Odori Festival: Traditional Japanese Instruments Family Concert | Shakuhachi, Koto, and Folk Songs
Enjoy the sounds of the summer festival with the whole family
2026/08/22(sa.) 13:30 Starting
We are pleased to present a summer family concert by wanooto, an ensemble of traditional Japanese instrument performers.
Featuring shakuhachi player Koyama Shiba and koto player Keiko Yoshiba, along with guest folk singer Haruka Umemoto,
we will present live performances of Japanese songs and Bon Odori melodies inspired by summer.
Based on the concept of “the sounds of traditional Japanese instruments that even infants can enjoy,” we have created an interactive program that appeals to everyone from children to adults.
