The Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra’s 55th Season Concert, conducted by Music Director Naoto Otomo, promises a special evening where heart-stirring masterpieces intersect with contemporary sounds. Featuring rising star violinist Rio Arai as soloist, you will be treated to her fresh yet passionate performance of Mendelssohn’s masterpiece, the “Violin Concerto.” The diverse program also includes the premiere of a commissioned work by Taku Tsujimine and “Okinawa Symphonic Almanac” by Hideaki Hagimori, written specifically for the Ryukyu Symphony Orchestra.
