A sublime piano recital by pianist Irina Mezhyueva, a lecturer in the Faculty of Music at Kyoto City University of Arts, will be held. Ms. Mezhyueva, who continues to captivate audiences with her exceptional technique and rich musicality, will present a program featuring works by Debussy, a master of modern French music, and Mussorgsky, whose compositions embody Russian passion—a program that is both strikingly contrasting and deeply emotional. The first half will transport the audience into a world of colorful sounds drawn from Debussy’s *Préludes* and *Impressions*, while the second half will feature *Pictures at an Exhibition*, widely regarded as Mussorgsky’s greatest masterpiece, a grand narrative that pushes the boundaries of the piano.
