Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra: Kanazawa Performance Unofficial

As a special performance for “Asia Orchestra Week 2026,” an event promoting musical exchange among Asian countries, Thailand’s premier Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra will deliver a passionate performance in Kanazawa. The concert will be conducted by Sergei Sumbatian and feature pianist Dmitry Masleev, renowned for his overwhelming technical skill and expressive power, as soloist. The program opens with “Siam Soundscapes” by Narongrit Dhamabutr, a work with a contemporary sound, and continues with Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2—a masterpiece of the Romantic era—and Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, offering an evening filled with classic masterpieces.
