・Beethoven: Symphony No. 5, “Fate”

This program offers the chance to enjoy the lyrical melodies of the Romantic era and the refined music of the Classical era.

We are pleased to welcome Jun Okamoto (Associate Principal Double Bassist of the NHK Symphony Orchestra) as our double bass soloist. This marks his first performance with our orchestra in 12 years! Please come to the concert hall to experience the rich, moving tones and technical virtuosity of this low-string instrument.

In addition to the sound of the instruments, the interplay between the conductor, soloist, and orchestra—including their breathing and eye contact—all come together to create a performance that is unique to that single day. We will perform with all our heart and soul to deliver music full of passion.
We sincerely look forward to seeing you all there on the day of the concert.
