From classical music connoisseurs to beginners, we offer a special opportunity for adults to relax and delve deeper into music. With commentary by Professor Masaaki Haneda, the first half of the program traces the evolution of piano music through beloved masterpieces by Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin. In the second half, we’ll shift gears to offer the joy of discovering lesser-known composers and works. We’ll introduce nostalgic Eastern European harmonies and soul-stirring masterpieces by composers such as Tansman, Boltkiewicz, and Muchinski. Please enjoy these precious pieces—which are rarely performed live—in a luxurious setting. Following the concert, we’ll hold a one-finger duet workshop that even beginners can easily join, offering a fulfilling experience where you can not only listen to music but also experience the joy of playing it yourself. In this autumn of the arts, we invite you to fully immerse yourself in a moment that opens the door to new musical horizons.
