“Asia Orchestra Week 2026,” organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Arts Festival and recognized as one of the world’s largest international festivals specializing in orchestras from the Asia-Pacific region, will be held. This year, the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra—representing the Kingdom of Thailand and performing under the patronage of the Royal Family—will visit Japan. The festival will feature Sergei Sumbatian, who has frequently appeared as a guest conductor with prestigious orchestras around the world, and pianist Dmitry Masleev, winner of the 15th Tchaikovsky International Competition, as soloist.
