Promenade Concert EXTRA Unofficial

This is a free concert series held in the entrance hall of the Art Tower Mito, open to everyone to enjoy. This performance is presented as “Promenade Concert EXTRA,” featuring a variety of instrumental and vocal works in addition to the pipe organ. The performers are soprano Sayuri Tomioka, a native of Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and pianist Yoshihiro Ota. The program is scheduled to include the soul-stirring masterpiece “Pie Jesu” by the French composer Fauré, among other pieces. This is a special opportunity to fully enjoy the resonant ensemble of vocals and piano in the spacious and open atmosphere of the entrance hall, without being constrained by a set start time.
