■ Profile
The Nagoya Shin Orchestra is an amateur orchestra based in Nagoya. It was founded by students who wanted to experience the charm of classical music through masterpieces and share the joy of engaging sincerely with music. Since beginning activities in 2020, the orchestra has dedicated itself to music every day under the dynamic guidance of conductor Hideaki Muto.
For this concert, we will present works by Beethoven—a staple of our repertoire—including one of his most famous symphonies, Symphony No. 5 “Fate,” as well as Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, renowned as one of the greatest masterpieces of the piano concerto. We hope you will enjoy the powerful and beautiful classical sound of Beethoven, as well as the sweet and melancholic melodies of Rachmaninoff—two distinct worlds.
All of us in the orchestra are sincerely looking forward to sharing a wonderful time with you on the day of the concert.
