"Banraku Yuki," a concert project entirely organized by current Tokyo University of the Arts students, will hold its fifth performance at the J:COM Urayasu Music Hall. Four pianists and one composer—all graduates of the Tokyo University of the Arts High School of Music or the university itself—will come together to express their deep love and enjoyment of music. The title "Banraku Yuki" embodies the spirit of "playing and enjoying oneself to the fullest," and the group aims to deliver a stimulating musical experience where the members’ individualities resonate with one another. For this performance, we have prepared an ambitious program featuring piano solos centered on modern and contemporary works, as well as piano duets that recreate magnificent orchestral pieces. Furthermore, the stage will be filled with creative energy, including the premiere of a new work composed by the members themselves. This is a precious opportunity to share in the joy of music-making with five musicians who have studied and honed their skills together, now reunited once again. We invite you to come to the venue and savor the exquisite ensemble woven from their curiosity and technical mastery.
