Hachijo Taiko Hanamizuki: Let's Try Playing the Hachijo Taiko

This event is a special workshop where you can casually experience the traditional art of Hachijo Taiko. The program is designed so that even those with no prior experience playing the drums can participate with confidence. It begins with the process of creating your very own “one-of-a-kind drumstick.” After completing your handmade drumstick, you’ll enjoy the experience of freely beating the drums to the rhythm and feeling the sound with your whole body. The open, soothing rhythms unique to Hachijo Taiko will help you forget your daily stresses and naturally bring a smile to your face. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone—from young children to adults—to have fun together as a family and create lasting memories.
