To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sendai Classic Festival (Senkura), we are pleased to present a spectacular evening gala featuring a stellar lineup of accomplished artists active in various fields. A truly once-in-a-lifetime dream collaboration has been realized, featuring violinist Sumire Hirotsuru, pianist Nyu Nyu, and the highly popular saxophone quartet The Rev Saxophone Quartet. The program features a diverse selection of works, ranging from famous arias by Puccini to Rachmaninoff’s passionate melodies, Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” and Ravel’s masterpieces that showcase the full potential of the saxophone.
