The String Quartet Society, a subcommittee of the Japan Amateur Musicians' Association, will present a new type of participatory concert in which the distinction between player and listener is blurred.
This year's concert was held at Academy Otowa, two minutes from Gokokuji Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, and featured a string quartet by Haydn, a master of the classical school, and the first performance in Japan of a string quartet by Carl Czerny.
In this small hall, where the performers are very close to each other, you will be able to enjoy the real pleasure of chamber music to the fullest.

After the two short performances, there will be a fun corner as is customary at salon concerts.
The performers and audience will mix and mingle, and those who have just met will play together in an impromptu ensemble.
Tea and sweets will be served, so please feel free to join in and listen while chatting.

If you play an instrument, please bring your instrument and come and play.
Of course, those who just want to listen are also welcome.
We look forward to seeing you there.
