Hidemi Suzuki Master Class

World-renowned cellist Hidemi Suzuki will give a public master class and lecture at the Aigut Salon in Kyoto. The purpose of this program is to explore in depth J.S. Bach's milestone "Suite for Solo Cello No. 1". The lecture section will focus on the "History of the Solo Suites and the Cello," with performances and commentary to provide an in-depth look at the essence of the work and its interpretation in performance at the time. In the following master class, Mr. Suzuki will give direct instruction to three students. Both modern and baroque instruments are welcome, and this will be a valuable learning opportunity for both performers and audience members to experience the rich knowledge of a master musician. This is a very meaningful day for all those who deeply love music to experience Bach's worldview from multiple perspectives.
