The Tenth Symphony, Beethoven to Brahms.

Sao Inajima and Mahiro Oishi, who have been active as a piano duo, will hold a spin-off project to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their debut. This is a rare opportunity to perform Brahms' Symphony No. 1, known as the "Tenth Symphony," in a rare joint piano version by the composer himself. The two pianists will present their unique interpretations of this work, which marks the 150th anniversary of its completion and premiere, as a musical lineage inherited from Beethoven. The audience will be able to fully enjoy the intricate structure of the music and the beauty of the melody that only the limited composition of the piano duet can bring to the fore.
In the first half of the program, Koji Amasaki, a well-known translator and author of numerous Brahms-related books, will be invited as a guest to provide commentary and delve deeply into the appeal of the works.
