Chiyomi Takayama Soprano & Jun Shimada Piano Concert

This is the long-awaited concert by soprano Chiyomi Takayama in Miyazaki, Japan.
This time, she will be joined by the young pianist Jun Shimada, who continues to make great strides on the world stage, for a very special moment.
Shimada, whose teacher is Eric Roux, won the first prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in 2025, and his participation in last year's competition together with his teacher and brother was broadcast on an NHK special and attracted a great deal of attention.
This is a rare opportunity to experience his piano performance in Miyazaki, where he possesses solid technique and fresh sensitivity.
Miyazaki-born pianist Michiyo Obara will provide a breathtaking accompaniment, and Takayama's uncle, Michio Inada, is scheduled to perform with her, creating a warm space where family ties and beautiful music will resonate together.
