Chamber Music by Akiyoshi SAKO (piano) Unofficial

Japan's leading pianist, Akiyoshi SAKO, has invited some of his most trusted musicians to present a selection of chamber music works. This year's lineup includes Kyoko Takezawa on violin, Yoshiko Kawamoto on viola, and Kaeko Mukaiyama on cello. The program is extremely challenging, beginning with Mahler's only chamber music work, the Piano Quartet (Interlude), followed by Schumann's piano quartet, which is full of Schumann's characteristic passion, and Brahms' profound and passionate Piano Quartet No. 1.
