Barthold Kuiken & Junko Watanabe Duo Recital Unofficial

Barthold Kuiken and Junsei Watanabe will perform a superb duo recital featuring two masters of the ancient music world. Kuiken, a pioneer of flauto-traverso, and Watanabe, a leading harpsichordist in Japan, will delve deeply into the world of Bach using the 16-foot German harpsichord with strings of which the Iwaki Performing Arts Center Alios is proud. This is a rare opportunity to experience the essence of Baroque music, and the delicate resonance and tonal dialogue of the instrument will fill the intimate space of the Music Small Hall.
