Aichi Chamber Orchestra The Legend Ensemble Series No.8

Takumi Komoriya, celebrating the 50th anniversary of his debut, will perform the three roles of conductor, violin soloist, and concertmaster in this third installment of his "Three Swords" series. In the first half of the concert, he will take on the ambitious challenge of performing Beethoven's masterpiece "Kreutzer" in an arranged version for violin and string orchestra. It will be very interesting to hear how the passionate dialogue of the original piece, known as a piano duo, is beautifully transformed with the addition of strings. In the second half, we will present Tchaikovsky's "Serenade for Strings," which is distinguished by the melodic and constructive beauty born in Russia. Komoriya's bows, which have been at the forefront of the music world for half a century, will lead the string section of the Aichi Chamber Orchestra in an intimate and dense ensemble.
