Arrieta Symphony Orchestra 23rd Concert Unofficial

The 23rd concert presented by the Arietta Symphony Orchestra will be held as a Toyota Community Concert. The orchestra, based in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, will perform Beethoven's masterpieces and Mendelssohn's concertos under the baton of Music Director and Permanent Conductor Yasunori Oichi. The guest concertmaster will be Mr. Ryo Takamiya, and the soloist will be Ms. Shiori Goto, a violinist from Koshigaya City who is currently a student at Musashino Academia Musicae. The concert will open with Beethoven's "Leonore" Overture, continue with Mendelssohn's brilliant Violin Concerto, and end with Beethoven's "Rural" Symphony, also by Beethoven, richly expressing the beauty and peacefulness of nature. We hope you will enjoy the performance of this orchestra, which places importance on community-based activities, in the main hall of the Wako Civic Cultural Center Sun Azalea.
