This is the 32nd performance of the popular concert series planned and organized by citizen volunteers who support the operation of the Sendai International Music Competition. This year's guest performer is Ray Hailui, a talented young violinist who won the 6th prize in the Violin Division of the 9th Sendai International Music Competition. Mr. Hailui, who has been active on the world stage, will give a passionate performance and talk about his experience in the competition and his thoughts on music. Pianist Wenjing Hua will perform with Mr. Hailui, and will present a gem of a program including Mozart, Prokofiev, and Saint-Saens. This performance is a special event to which 250 people will be invited free of charge by drawing lots, and through beautiful sounds and artistic dialogue, you will enjoy an elegant and fulfilling time.
