～About Ensemble Brighton
The seeds for the creation of Ensemble Brighton were planted in the fall of 2010 by the founder of the orchestra, who wanted to create a new orchestra that would improve the quality of the ensemble by bringing together people with a strong sense of camaraderie. The ensemble is based in Yokohama and Tokyo. We do not aim to expand our size (number of members) in order to
We do not aim to expand our size (number of members) in order to play large pieces, etc., but rather to focus on the works of Beethoven and Mozart, who are representative of the classical school, while challenging the works of other composers. We do not practice on a fixed day of the week throughout the year, but concentrate our rehearsals during a certain period (about 3 months) before a concert. Since the founding of the orchestra, we have always placed importance on getting together with friends who know each other well, who we can introduce to our friends as our friends, and who we can build on each practice session with care in order to achieve our goal of performing at a concert. We believe that the starting point of the music we aim for is to cherish the circle of friends we are connected with and to nurture the harmony of our friends. We will continue to aim for a cohesive and highly accomplished performance by a small group of musicians, so that we can enjoy the warm harmony of music together with the audience who comes to our concerts.
The name "BrighTone" is a coined word of "Brighten" and "Tone". We aim to perform in such a way that each individual light shines together and the music shines.
