The 37th Harmony Bunkasalon - The World of Italian Baroque Art Unofficial

The 37th edition of the popular "Harmony Bunkasalon" series, which adds color to weekday afternoons, will be held. This year's program will delve deeply into the world of Italian Baroque art amidst the heightened anticipation of the "Europa Galante" performance scheduled for November. Sadao Serikawa, former director of the Fukui Prefectural Museum of Art, will be invited as a lecturer to explain the historical background and the breath of Baroque music in an easy-to-understand manner, while unraveling the art works of the period. The second half of the program will feature beautiful performances by Rei Kuzumi, soprano, and Yuri Takezawa, piano. Please enjoy the fragrant time of art with masterpieces by Carissimi, Handel, and Scarlatti. In addition, sweets and coffee will be served on the day (limited to 100) to add to the pleasant moment. Even those with no knowledge of paintings will be able to fully enjoy the elegant world of this enriching program.
