A piano recital in Miyazaki will be given by Kevin Chen, a young Canadian pianist who won the second prize at the 2025 International Chopin Piano Competition. Combining poetic sensibility and superb technique, he is internationally acclaimed as one of the most unique pianists of his generation. In addition to such piano gems as Chopin's Etudes, Scriabin's works, and Liszt's Fountain of the Estates, Kevin Chen will also perform his own arrangement of Liszt's Les Preludes.
