Four hundred years after his death.
A lute song for song and lute, which reached the height of its refinement in Elizabethan England.
Its music is in the concise melody,
restraint and passion, reason and melancholy.

In this performance, the English songs will be performed in the original pronunciation of the 16th century.
The songs will be sung in the Original Pronunciation, which is the pronunciation used in the 16th century.
By historically recreating the sound of the vowels and consonants of the words,
the connection between the poem and the music will emerge more clearly.
Please enjoy the world of Dowland's music, which is still fresh after 400 years.
