Discover it by day, and let the emotion reach its peak by night—
We are hosting a music festival at “Oji Hall,” a venue in Ginza dedicated exclusively to chamber music, where you can experience the charm of chamber music all in one day.

“Chamber music? It sounds difficult—maybe it’s all unfamiliar pieces.”
This is precisely the festival we want those who think this way to experience. The wonder of how the music comes together perfectly without a conductor, and the joy of watching the musicians “converse” through eye contact and shared breathing as they create music together. The unique charm of chamber music lies in those moments when each individual’s sound overlaps and resonates with the others.

The festival consists of a matinee and an evening performance.

The matinee features a program designed to be accessible even to those experiencing chamber music for the first time.

Part 1 opens with a string quartet led by Chiharu Taki, a violinist currently attracting much attention. We’ll present the theme from *Star Wars*, Mozart’s *Eine kleine Nachtmusik*, and Barber’s *Adagio for Strings*—familiar masterpieces delivered with a truly professional sound.

Part 2 is an open master class where you can learn how music is refined and brought to life. You’ll gain insight into the depth of chamber music—something that’s hard to grasp just by listening.

In Part 3, Manami Nakajima will perform the trumpet solo from the Studio Ghibli film *Castle in the Sky*. You’ll be enveloped by the rich resonance of the trumpet as it cascades down from the third-floor balcony of our dedicated chamber music hall.
Additionally, the program features a diverse selection of works, including Schumann—whose music enjoys worldwide popularity—Elgar, known for “Pomp and Circumstance,” and Martinů, whose music carries a hint of jazz. You’ll be able to enjoy the wide-ranging appeal of chamber music.

And for the closing evening performance, Eric Silberger—a prize-winning violinist from the Tchaikovsky International Competition—will make his long-awaited debut in Japan. He will be accompanied on piano by Brant Frederiksen, whom international media have praised for his “overwhelming talent” and “dynamic sense of rhythm and masterful technique.” These two globally acclaimed artists will present an intense and captivating duo performance.

A value-packed all-access pass is also available, allowing you to enjoy both the matinee and evening performances. Whether you’re new to chamber music or already a lover of the genre, please enjoy a day of immersing yourself in chamber music in Ginza.
