The Staatskapelle Berlin, the world's premier orchestra with 450 years of history, will visit Japan for the first time in four years, preserving the traditional German sound. This is the long-awaited first performance by the orchestra since Christian Thielemann, one of the greatest maestros of our time, assumed the position of General Music Director. With legendary pianist Rudolf Buchbinder as soloist, the orchestra will perform Mozart's sublime concerto and Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 "Romantic", Thielemann's most famous work.
