Kohei Ueno (saxophone), Atsushi Yamanaka (piano), and Shun Ishiwaka (percussion), three popular artists of the same generation currently active at the forefront, will reunite in Mitaka for a long-awaited return performance in the fall of 2026 in response to the enthusiastic support for the 2024 performance. Having met at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, they respond to each other's sounds and weave a sonic conversation with their breaths and pauses. Ueno with his genre-defying expressiveness, Yamanaka with his versatile sensibility, and Ishiwaka creating new grooves. The three freely manipulate classical and contemporary music, as well as improvisation, to deliver a musical time that can only be witnessed at that moment. The sound of "now" presented by these mature musicians will be a special moment that will shake the senses of music fans gathered at Kaze no Hall.
