New Japan Symphony Orchestra 117th Subscription Concert (60th Anniversary II)

The New Japan Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 60th anniversary.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who have supported our orchestra. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
In the 117th Subscription Concert, we will perform Gustav Mahler's major works as our second 60th anniversary project. It is our desire to achieve further musical growth as an orchestra.
Why is Mahler's Symphony No. 6 called "tragic" even though it was written at the peak of his career?
When we think of his later life, is the hammering sound in the piece a symbol of fate or resistance to it?
The orchestra was conducted by Yoshino Rino Kawasaki, whose enthusiastic performance at the 112th Regular Concert, which was the first time they performed together, was very well received. The future of this young talent is highly anticipated.
What kind of Mahler "destiny" will Ms. Yoshizaki, who is becoming more and more brilliant, create?
