Ensemble Consorte

44th Concert

2026/07/20(mo.) 14:00 Starting

Ota Kumin Hall Aprico Main HallTokyo

Official https://econ.sakura.ne.jp/

We, "Ensemble Consorte", started full-scale activities in January 2004, mainly composed of friends who have met in various orchestras. The word "Consorte" means "friends" in Italian, and it expresses our wish to create wonderful human relationships (friends) through the musical activity of an orchestra.

We have been active as a small orchestra with a type-8, two-orchestra formation since our establishment. Currently, we have two main policies: "Aggressive challenge to Haydn's symphonies" and "Romanticism challenged by a small orchestra". In this concert, the orchestra will perform Mendelssohn's overture "The Story of the Beautiful Melusine" and Violin Concerto, and Mozart's Symphony No. 41.
We hope you will enjoy the sound and ensemble of this small ensemble.
