Eitetsu Hayashi, who has established the expression of taiko music and is active both in Japan and abroad, will mark the 55th anniversary of his performance career with a commemorative concert that will strike a new chord in Kanagawa. Since making his Carnegie Hall debut as the first "taiko soloist," Eitetsu Hayashi has developed a variety of solo taiko playing techniques and has performed with many orchestras. For this concert, Hiromitsu Agatsuma, a leading Tsugaru shamisen player, will join Eitetsu Hayashi's disciples, the "Eitetsu Fuun no Kai," as special guests to create a spectacular sound world of roaring drums and galloping strings at the Yokohama Arts Theater.
