A duo recital by Mika Yonezawa, violinist, and Kiai Nara, pianist, who have performed together extensively in Europe. Yonezawa, concert mistress of the Komische Oper Orchestra Berlin, and Nara, associate professor at Kunitachi College of Music with a brilliant record that includes first prize at the All Japan Student Music Competition and first prize at the Schumann International Music Competition, will perform in a superb ensemble. The audience will be captivated by a gem of a program that includes Schubert's Sonata for Violin and Piano and Waxman's Carmen Fantasy.
