The orchestra will perform Elgar's "Dignity No. 1," which every Japanese has heard before, Mendelssohn's "Violin Concerto," whose wistful and impressive melody at the beginning of the first movement is probably familiar to everyone, and Rachmaninov's "Symphony No. 2," which is one of the most popular and often heard in concerts in the classical music world.
The violin soloist for the violin concerto will be Satoko Fukuda, a second-year high school student who plays the violin part in our group.
The program is a collection of standard classical pieces, so we hope that both classical music beginners and classical music lovers will enjoy listening to this program!
We are looking forward to seeing you at the concert!
