Hideki Togi 30th Anniversary Tour

TOGISM of Eternity and Innovation

2026/12/12(sa.) 15:00 Starting

Kyoto Concert Hall, Main HallKyoto

Official https://www.bsfuji.tv/event/togihideki30th/

This concert tour commemorates the 30th anniversary of Hideki Togi, one of Japan's leading masters of gagaku (ancient Japanese court music). The first part, themed "Silk Road" which traces the origin of music, will present a one-of-a-kind stage spun by Japanese gagaku and instruments from the ancient Silk Road. The second part of the concert will intersect with Western band sounds with Japanese resonance at its core, creating a rock sound that fuses the past and the future, the world and Japan. The performance will also feature a father-son collaboration with his son, Norichika Togi, a guitarist and Gagaku (traditional Japanese court music) player, reminding us that music is being passed on to the next generation. We hope you will enjoy this innovative stage that expands the depth of Gagaku and its new possibilities.
