Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra 15th Hankyu Yumemachi Charity Concert for Parents and Children Unofficial

This year marks the 15th concert held as part of the Hankyu Hanshin Future Dream City Project, a social contribution activity of the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group. The Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra will perform at the Umeda Arts Theatre's Main Hall, which is equipped with authentic acoustics, with the aim of "bringing the excitement of encountering real orchestra music to children. Navigated by former top daughter of the Takarazuka Revue's flower troupe and actor Ranno Hana, the program includes Elgar's march "Dignity and Majesty No. 1" and other wonderful classical pieces. Second-year junior high school cellist Shoma Terada will be the guest performer of the third movement from Haydn's Cello Concerto No. 1. The program also features a conductor's corner where children can try their hand at conducting, body percussion to the tune of "Trepak" from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," and much more.
