Nagoya Bruckner Orchestra 31st Concert

The Nagoya Bruckner Orchestra is an amateur orchestra formed in 1995 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bruckner's death. To date, the orchestra has performed all of Bruckner's symphonies. For its 31st concert, the orchestra will perform Bruckner's Symphony No. 8 in C minor (Haas version), following last year's successful performance of Bruckner's Symphony No. 7. The coupling will take on Sibelius' symphonic poem "Tapiola" under the baton of Dr. Yuri Nitta, president of the Sibelius Society of Japan.
