Quartet Integra Beethoven String Quartet Concert Vol.2
Total of 6 sessions scheduled
2026/06/21(su.) 14:00 Starting
The quintessence of music seigaku spun by a young quartet.
The Quartet Integra has been attracting more and more attention from around the world, winning the second prize and the Audience Prize in the String Quartet Division of the ARD Munich International Music Competition, the world's top chamber music competition, as well as the top prize in the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in recent years. This is the second installment of the long-awaited Beethoven Zycles, which began last year!
The first edition of the Beethoven Ticles began with the unique composition of No. 1 and No. 16, the first and last pieces of the opus number, with "Harp," one of the masterpieces of the middle period, in between. In this second installment, we will focus on No. 2 and No. 6 from Op. 18, which represent the early period, and No. 15, which is one of the masterpieces of his later years, as if it were a counterpart to them. What is the intention here? It is an endless source of interest.
After graduating from Toho Gakuen School, Suntory Hall Chamber Music Academy, and the Colburn School in Los Angeles, they continue to further their studies in Europe. Their exquisite ensemble, transparent tone, youthful intelligence, and passion combine to breathe new life into Beethoven's string quartets. The music of the present moment resonates into the future.
