wanooto Japanese instrument experience mini-concert (Civic Hall Omiya)
Let's look and listen!
2026/06/13(sa.) 10:20 Starting
The 4th "Children's Mini Concert" has been redesigned to incorporate feedback from previous years and to offer both a concert and a hands-on experience with Japanese instruments.
The program is open to children as young as 0 years old and can be easily enjoyed by families with babies.
The concert will include Japanese songs of the four seasons, and will allow participants to enjoy Japanese music by singing and clapping, using their whole body.
The music is familiar to people of all ages, so everyone from young children to the elderly can join in the concert while singing along.
In the Japanese instrument experience, visitors can actually touch and play the koto and shakuhachi and try their hand at some simple tunes.
Of course, adults are also welcome to try their hand at playing the instruments!
For the June performance, we will give each participant a miniature instrument and play music with them on the theme of rain!
The mini instruments are given to each participant as a gift, so please enjoy them after you go home!â
