Philippe Tutzer Bassoon Master Class & Mini Concert Unofficial

A mini-concert and master class will be held by bassoonist Philippe Tutzer and pianist Yuri Maeda. The mini-concert will include pieces from the newly released CDs "Schubert: Lieder" and "Telemann: Fantasie," and is not to be missed. Mr. Tutzer is a longtime solo bassoonist with the Mozarteum Orchestra in Salzburg, and is an internationally renowned player who has been a guest with the Berlin Philharmonic and other orchestras. This will be a rare opportunity to experience his outstanding technique and musicality up close. Yuri Maeda, who will perform with the orchestra, is also a talented pianist who has won prizes in numerous international competitions. In the master class, you will also have the opportunity to watch the growth of the next generation of bassoonists.
