NHK Symphony Orchestra, Aomori Asahi Broadcasting Corporation 35th Anniversary Concert

To commemorate the 35th anniversary of Aomori Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, the NHK Symphony Orchestra will present a special concert in Aomori. With Junichi Hirokami conducting and Tomohiro Ushida at the piano, a brilliant concert is expected. The program will include Chopin's beautiful Piano Concerto No. 1 and Dvořák's passionate Slavonic Dances No. 1, allowing the audience to enjoy the rich sound of the orchestra. Furthermore, this performance is eligible for the Agency for Cultural Affairs' project to support children's appreciation of the performing arts, providing a rare opportunity for children, who will be responsible for the future, to experience authentic classical music. ◆Administration for Cultural Affairs' Support Program for Children's Performing Arts Appreciation Experience at Theaters and Music Halls
The NHK Symphony Orchestra Concert supported by SGC (Link Station Hall Aomori), commemorating the 35th anniversary of Aomori Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, has been accepted by the Agency for Cultural Affairs for the "Support Program for Children's Performing Arts Experiences in Theaters and Music Halls" (FY2026 Agency for Cultural Affairs, Support Program for Children's Performing Arts Experiences in Theaters and Music Halls). Children born on or after April 2, 2008 will be invited free of charge and their accompanying children under 18 will be admitted at half price.

What is the "Children's Theater Experience Support Program"?
The purpose of this program is to support efforts to provide children with opportunities to experience and appreciate authentic performing arts at theaters and music halls, etc., in order to nurture children's rich humanity and to contribute to the development of future bearers and audiences of culture and the arts.

Free admission for children 18 years old and under, half-price for accompanying children.
Children under 18 years old are invited free of charge and half-price for the accompanying person.
Children 18 years old and under (Please show proof of age on the day of the performance.)
Children accompanied by a parent or guardian 19 years old or older can reserve tickets at half price (4,750 yen).
