Suntory Hall Summer Festival 2026 Luca Francesconi Composition Workshop x Talk Session Unofficial

This is a special program of the Suntory Hall Summer Festival 2026, part of the performances organized to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Suntory Hall. A talk session by Luca Francesconi, the theme composer, and Toshio Hosokawa, the supervisor, will be held in the first part. In the second part, a clinic of publicly solicited works from young composers will be held with demonstrations. Through these valuable lectures by Mr. Francesconi and Mr. Hosokawa, two leading experts in contemporary music, the audience will be able to experience the depth of composition and the new possibilities of contemporary music.
