Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra 80th Concert

The Philharmonic Ensemble Orchestra presents its 80th concert to commemorate the return to Tokyo of its overseas tour in the Czech Republic, held on November 15, 2026 at Sumida Triphony Hall. The performance will be conducted and played by Kento Satsuma, an up-and-coming young talent active in the Czech Republic. This will be his debut performance in Tokyo, and his activities will be the focus of much attention. The concertmaster will be Takashi Nagamine, former principal of the NHK Symphony Orchestra. The program includes Dvořák's "Carnival," Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," and Berlioz's magnificent "Symphonie fantastique," masterpieces that are sure to be a delight to listen to.
