Wind Ensemble Aoyama is an amateur brass band that was founded in May 2011 with the concept of "Let's enjoy music time for adults. With former NHK Symphony Orchestra tuba player Kikuzo Tado as its permanent conductor, the Wind Ensemble Aoyama performs under the concept of "enjoyable music" in which everyone can feel, think, and express music together. In this 13th concert, the orchestra will present a wide range of programs from grand classical works such as Shostakovich's "Festive Overture" and "Last Movement from Symphony No. 5 'Revolution'" to familiar pieces such as "The Girl from Ipanema" and "The Hollywood Milestone". We sincerely hope to share with you the music we have created while enjoying our rehearsals, without criticizing any out-of-tune or wrong notes. We hope you will enjoy the "time of music for adults" that we, Wind Ensemble Aoyama, will present to you.
