Quartet Integra Beethoven Cycle Vol.2 Unofficial

What I frankly felt after completing the first Beethoven Cycle last year was the difficulty of focusing on only one composer. Beethoven's music changes at a dizzying pace, and each piece always plays a major role in the overall structure of the work, so there is never a moment when I feel at ease while performing. It also made me think about what it means for us to perform Beethoven's string quartets now, when so many of them are being performed around the world. At that time, when Beethoven composed Razumovsky's string quartet and showed the score to a violinist, he found it so difficult that he asked Beethoven whether in the world this could be called music. His answer was, "This is not music for you, but for the future. It seems to me that the future Beethoven was referring to was much further into the future than the present.
