This opening concert marks the glamorous beginning of the 47th Kirishima International Music Festival. In the first part, soprano Saki Nakae and tenor Kohei Yamamoto will perform "Gorgeous Opera Gala" with pianist Maho Ishino. The audience will be able to enjoy their gems of singing, including arias by the great masters such as Verdi, Handel, and Puccini, as well as Japanese songs. The second part is a piano half-recital by Eliso Vilsalase, one of the best pianists of our time. Her deep and powerful performance of masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven will be presented.
