Masaki Hayashi is trusted by Ringo Shiina not only as a performer but also as an arranger. He has participated in many tours and recordings, and served as the backing band when the band participated in the Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Singing Contest). He is currently on a nationwide tour of the "Sheena Ringo Party Tour 2026-8," and is a favorite of Sheena Ringo fans.

As a composer, he won the Mainichi Film Concours Music Award for his music for the movie "Wonderful World" (directed by Miwa Nishikawa), which was released in 2021 and has received high acclaim.

Masaki Hayashi gathered his most respected members and established the "Hayashi Masaki Group. All members are the best of their generation.

The members include Kazuma Fujimoto (guitar), widely known as the guitarist of "orange pekoe" and a close friend of Hayashi, who released a duo album with Hayashi last year.

Hiroshi Suzuki (saxophone/flute/clarinet), who is active in a wide variety of fields including classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary music.

Atsutaka Yoshida (violin), who participated in Miho Sama's album and played a solo in "Kamakura-dono no 13inin".

Takashi Sugawa (bass/cello), a member of the "Banksia Trio" formed by Hayashi and Shun Ishiwaka

Shinya Fukumori (drums), who has been active in Europe and the U.S. for a long time and has recently been active in the Asian music scene.

The group freely traverses genres such as jazz, classical, and contemporary music, as well as diverse musical vocabularies, and blurs the boundaries between them. Layers of sound overlap, creating a unique ensemble that expands into space. The sound is like Brian Eno's environmental music, but it is unique and cannot be confined to a single genre.
