The Rokugo Wind Ensemble is an amateur brass band in Ota Ward, Tokyo, founded in 1992 by graduates of the Rokugo Junior High School Wind Band Club of Ota Ward. The band performs mainly at regular concerts, with Mr. Hiroyuki Yamaguchi, who was the advisor of the Rokugo Junior High School Brass Band at the time, as its permanent conductor.
Although the band is composed of adults, it also includes high school and college students, and is characterized by its wide range of members.
The number of members who are not graduates of Rokugo Junior High School is also increasing, and we welcome people with outside experience to join our band.
Admission is free, children are welcome, and reservations are not required. We invite everyone to come and enjoy the charm of brass band music.
